Voting 2004 November 2

I went to the polls this morning before work. It didn’t seem to be any more crowded in then in the past. Maybe even less so considering it is a Presidential election. Maybe I just hit it at the right time, but usually a lot of people want to vote before work. I know they are calling for a huge turnout, but I didn’t see anything at my polling location to suggest that is going to be true here in New Jersey.

BTW: If you haven’t voted yet, you can always write me in. :-)

Gregory Haase Says:

I had the same experience. I walked in at 7:10 and was on the road to work by 7:20. What’s even more interesting: there wasn’t much traffic. I made it to work by 8:20, which I rarely do on a regular day if I leave by 7:00. So no lines at the polls indicated that no one’s out voting yet, but lack of traffic on the turnpike seems to indicate that people in are in lines at the polls.

Most of my co-workers seem to be waiting until after work to cast their vote. I’m glad I got mine out of the way.
