Internet Librarian Presentation
Today I gave my F/OSS Library Automation Systems presentation at Internet Librarian 2004 in Monterey, CA. Besides thinking the presentation starting 15 minutes before it did, I felt it went real well. Also, the questions people asked me lead me to believe that the topic was of interest to those in attendance and that the focus I took was just about what people were expecting. Judging from the feedback I received from a number of people (at least seven or eight) thus far, so did the audience. Of course, sometimes the feedback is not 100% accurate as very few people will come up and say that your presentation was lousy, but I am still confident that it was well received.

I found it very informative. It was good to get a sense of how whether these systems would be viable in production use for a large library. The Evergreen project sounds very promising.
