New Silver Crown Cars 2004 December 10

United States Auto Club unvield the “next generation” Silver Crown racecar at the PRI Trade Show the other day. Overall it looks like a nice car but I don’t really care for all of the body work on the bottom. That part almost reminds me of a bumper car or go-kart at the amusement park. That said, I can understand why they are doing it, as I’m sure having the wheels more open is a bigger safety hazard and also would probably effect the stability at higher speeds.

At any rate, I’m looking forward to seeing what these cars can do on the bigger (1.5 mile) tracks in 2006. BTW: The dirt cars will keep the same specs as they currently have.
