New Egypt Speedway, June 18 2005 2005 June 18
Once again I decided to stay close to home and took the 7 or so mile ride to New Egypt Speedway. Overall the racing was pretty good and we got out of there at a decent time. I can deal with a 4 hour show, although I still think it was at least 30 minutes longer then it should be. The worse part of the day was the wind which was blowing right towards us. I was going to go somewhere else, but I didn’t really feel like driving that much and I have other plans the next two weekends anyway so staying close to home was probably not a bad thing.
