www. is deprecated is a movement that is trying to get websites to stop requiring people to type www. to connect to the site. For example, you should be able to type http://ecorrado.us to get to this site instead of having to type http://www.ecorrado.us. Or as they summarize, “use of the www subdomain is redundant and time consuming to communicate. The Internet, media, and society are all better off without it.” I’m all for this movement.
