I stayed close to home this weekend and went to New Egypt Speedway for the ARDC Midgets twin twenty show. During twin twenties, the ARDC midgets run one race wingless and the other one winged. On our way home from Vermont we decided to take a scenic ride how down Rt 7. We were looking at the map and found out we were going to drive right by Lime Rock Park road course. On Sunday, May 29′th we went to Twin State Speedway in Claremont New Hampshire to see the Northeastern Midget Racing Association. Unfortunately after getting a few hear races in the racing was canceled due to rain. On the way down from where we are staying we stopped for lunch at The Back Behind Saloon Restaurant for some tasty BBQ. On Saturday May 28 with went to Bear Ridge Speedway in Braford, Vermont. It was about 45 minutes to an hour from our hotel. We stayed near the Killington Ski Resort. On the ride to the track we passed a restaurant and road side snack bar in the form of a caboose that had a great smelling BBQ. Since we just ate we didn’t stop, but we kept this in mind for Sunday.
