Trenton Thunder Baseball 2005 July 17
Saturday night LUG/IP had our annual Trenton Thunder baseball game outing. The weather was iffy, but a few of us withstood a two hour rain delay before the game started and saw a pretty good baseball game that was one by the Thunder. A fun time was had by all who stayed. One of the things the Thunder did that I thought was really nice was even though the game was completed, because of the long delay, they are giving everyone a ticket to another game. How many short tracks would do that? None that I know of.
The statement about the ticket exchange on the Thunder website says:
Due to the inclement weather during Saturday night’s game against the Bowie Baysox, all tickets may be exchanged for tickets of equal or lesser value to any game remaining this season, based on availability. All exchanges must be done in person at Waterfront Park or by mail. Ticket office hours are 9:30-5 M-F, Saturdays 9:30-2:30 and all game days starting at 9:30 AM.
