Home Depot update 2005 August 4

I just received a response to my letter to Home Depot. It was basically a boiler plate response. They claim that my “feedback you provided will be taken very seriously and will be used in the overall evaluation of the services we provide our customers.” Hopefully they do, but this letter is not enough to make me go back. I’d post the whole letter, but since I don’t have permission I think I’m better off not.

 
 

Eagle cancels due to rain, so I eat steak. 2005 August 1

My trip was supposed to include attending races in four different states. However, a really big storm came through Monday night and Eagle Raceway, where I was going to go for a USAC midget show, threw in the towel early despite the fact the weather was going to be nice at race time. I guess they figured they couldn’t prepare the track. Such a shame for me and others who came a long way to see this race. (more…)
