Twentieth anniversary of Microsoft’s release of Windows 1.0 2005 November 21
I have just read an article about the twentieth anniversary of Microsoft’s release of Windows 1.0. I’m not a big fan (or even a small fan of MS Windows), but a twenty year anniversary is a pretty big deal in the computing world and it is surprising that Microsoft didn’t make a bigger deal of this. The article had a link to vote for your favorite version of MS Windows. I voted for MS Windows 3.11 (MS Windows for Workgroups), but I really wanted to vote for Microsoft Bob but, sadly, it wasn’t a choice.
